Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished and commercially strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy, performance, capital management, investment finance, treasury, reporting, and governance of a diversified insurance and investment organization. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, advising the CEO/President and Board on financial planning, insurance accounting, capital and solvency, investment portfolio performance, and corporate development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s overall financial strategy and translate corporate strategy into financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and measurable objectives.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑term financial planning, and establish financial KPIs and executive dashboards.
• Oversee financial management of insurance operations, monitoring premiums, claims, reserves, loss ratios, combined ratios, and underwriting profitability.
• Partner with actuarial, underwriting, claims, and risk teams to assess performance and emerging exposures.
• Provide financial oversight of the investment portfolio, monitor investment income, asset allocation, liquidity, and risk‑adjusted returns.
• Collaborate with the CIO and Investment Committee on portfolio strategy and evaluate strategic asset‑allocation decisions.
• Ensure strong financial governance, accountability, and regulatory reporting across the organization.

Required profile

• Deep financial expertise with strong commercial and investment acumen.
• Proven ability to operate in a highly regulated financial‑services environment.
• Experience leading financial strategy, budgeting, and performance management across insurance and investment operations.
