Client Executive SMO - International Organisations

About the role

Cigna Healthcare is part of Cigna's International Organisations unit, which designs and manages group health insurance and employee benefits programmes for IGO, NGO and GOV organisations. You will join the Client Management SMO team in Madrid and handle daily inward and outbound interactions with IGO/NGO/GOV brokers and clients, ensuring optimal service and high satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a selection of SMO clients and brokers, taking ownership of contacts, enquiries and escalations
• Monitor the swift implementation of new clients, brokers and services, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Visit larger Tier 1 clients and brokers regularly, communicate on Cigna services and performance, and explain annual renewal conditions
• Negotiate renewals at sustainable rates to maximise client retention, and proactively pursue up- and cross-sell opportunities
• Analyse claims experience and advise clients and brokers, and coordinate complaint and problem resolution with other departments
• Manage contracts meticulously, implement new clients, apply contractual changes, respond to RFPs, run client surveys, report on KPIs and update benefit and policy descriptions
• Suggest efficiency improvements and develop continuously through training

Required profile

• Master's degree or equivalent by experience
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance or administration
• Excellent English; an additional language is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication, sociable and professional with diverse stakeholders
• Team player, able to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
• Some experience collating data and statistical analysis

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of Excel and Word
• Experience with Access is a plus
