Commercial Strategy Analyst Intern (XL Business)

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Commercial Strategy Analyst Intern in Madrid. The intern joins the Commercial Strategy team, a new capability within Glovo, and works with the XL commercial team, finance and operations. The role is hands-on: building analytical tools, preparing performance reviews and turning data into insights used by senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Support the build and maintenance of analytical infrastructure such as dashboards, trackers and performance tools.
• Help prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews for the XL vertical, keeping data accurate and timely.
• Monitor KPIs, flag anomalies and investigate root causes.
• Translate data into clear recommendations for commercial and leadership audiences.
• Contribute to forecasting and QBR planning cycles.
• Propose improvements to how work is done.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Analytical mindset and curiosity about why things happen.
• Clear communicator who can explain what a number means.
• Organised, reliable and proactive, comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
• Native in Spanish and fluent in English.

Required skills

• Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets).
• SQL or BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Amplitude) are a plus.
