Cook (Cocinero/a) – Benidorm Beach

About the role

Barcelo is looking for a motivated Cook (Cocinero/a) to join the kitchen team at its Benidorm Beach resort. You will work under the Head Chef, preparing dishes according to the established menu specifications and ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes based on technical sheets of the menu wheel.
• Ensure smooth kitchen operations under the supervision of the Head Chef.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management and purchasing.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration and restocking of food items.
• Support receipt and storage of food supplies following established standards.
• Perform tasks in compliance with safety, hygiene regulations and company procedures.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in Cooking and Gastronomy.
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement.
• Team‑player attitude, creativity, stress tolerance and problem‑solving ability.
• Meticulous approach to tasks.

Required skills

• HACCP (food safety) knowledge.
