Corporate Human Resource Consultant

About the role

McDonald’s is seeking a Corporate Human Resource Consultant to join its Corporate People team in Madrid. This position offers a unique chance for an HR professional with a strong generalist background and exposure to Total Rewards to contribute to a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for HR‑related queries, delivering timely and accurate support to employees and internal stakeholders.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve Compensation & Benefits initiatives aligned with the People strategy.
• Prepare, consolidate, and analyse HR and Total Rewards reports to enable data‑driven decisions.
• Monitor market trends and propose initiatives that boost employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
• Provide broad HR administrative support for the corporate organization, ensuring smooth delivery of HR services, processes, and policies.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes to create a positive employee experience throughout the lifecycle.
• Partner with leaders to review and update job descriptions, clarifying responsibilities and expectations.
• Assist with the Corporate Talent Review Cycle, preparing information, ensuring process consistency, and following up on outcomes.
• Maintain HR resources and internal platform content, keeping it accurate, organized, and accessible.
• Participate in cross‑functional HR projects and working groups to implement company strategies and action plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist or HR Business Partner role.
• Solid experience with HR operations, administration, and exposure to Total Rewards.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to prepare and interpret HR data and reports.
