About the role

We are seeking a Country Sales Director for the Iberia region (Spain & Portugal) to lead our commercial expansion in Southern Europe. This senior position will shape and execute the market strategy, driving sustainable growth across industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and implement the commercial strategy for Iberia, ensuring market penetration and growth.
  • Build and strengthen the company’s presence across key industrial and infrastructure segments.
  • Lead, develop, and manage the local sales organization, setting targets and driving performance.
  • Act as senior commercial lead for strategic accounts, complex negotiations, and critical opportunities.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and customer engagement.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Develop long‑term relationships with key clients to increase retention and share of business.
  • Oversee tender processes, including commercial positioning and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and marketing teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Maintain discipline in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM usage.
  • Ensure pricing consistency and protect margins.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in international sales leadership within industrial or technical environments.
  • Strong background in cables and/or transformers (essential).
  • Minimum 15 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, infrastructure or energy‑related solutions, or technical engineered products/services.
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex, high‑value deals.
  • Experience managing and developing commercial teams.
  • Exposure to structured, tender‑driven sales processes.
  • Ability to operate effectively in international, matrix organisations.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a strong advantage.
