Customer Operations Intern

About the role

HP is looking for a Customer Operations Intern in Sant Cugat del Valles, working within a central Order Management team in a European, multicultural and fast-moving business environment. The intern supports HP Customers and Sales Teams in the Order Fulfillment area, gaining practical experience across Customer Operations processes. Eligibility requires being currently enrolled at a Spanish university, remaining enrolled until the end of the internship, and being able to sign an internship agreement with the university. Availability starts in February 2027 and continues until June-July 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Support backlog management and order management: monitor backlog tools (e.g. E2E Tool, FOM), identify orders at risk of missing SLAs, and prepare reports for customers and account teams
• Assist with claims, exceptions, special customer requests and order change requests, keeping data accurate
• Monitor invoicing and order closure in HP systems, follow up on billing issues and open orders, and track financial disputes
• Support quarter-end operations and contribute to revenue support initiatives
• Provide order status updates to customers and stakeholders, and collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Order Fulfillment, Credit & Collection and Sales Operations
• Take part in team meetings and cross-functional projects, and follow HP policies and compliance requirements

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or a related field at a Spanish university
• Interest in Customer Operations, Supply Chain, Order Management or Business Operations
• Strong English communication skills; good German is a plus
• Customer-focused, analytical and detail-oriented, with attention to accuracy and ability to prioritise tasks

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
