Cybersecurity Consultant

About the role

Join a leading cybersecurity laboratory within Applus, based in Granada, and work with a team of seasoned professionals serving international clients such as Checkpoint, McAfee, and Sophos. You will contribute to cutting‑edge security projects, ensuring products and architectures meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security analysis on IT‑focused products and services.
• Review security architectures for compliance with regulations and standards.
• Provide consulting on security standards such as CC/EUCC, SESIP, and eSA.
• Follow up on state‑of‑the‑art product projects and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics or a related field.
• Demonstrable knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Self‑motivated, strong work ethic and passion for technology.

Required skills

• C/C++ programming.
• RTL (Register Transfer Level) design.
• Deep understanding of computer architecture.
• Experience with HackTheBox or TryHackMe style labs.
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems and networks.
• Malware analysis, source‑code review and reverse engineering.
• Familiarity with hacking techniques.
• Relevant certifications (CEH, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, OSCE).
