Cybersecurity Operations Lead – Spain

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to lead security operations in Spain, overseeing SOC alerts, incident response, and vulnerability management. The role will guide a team of approximately six professionals and drive continuous improvement of the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and manage SOC alerts and security reports.
• Define and implement action plans for security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Escalate critical security situations to senior IT leadership.
• Manage security actions related to Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune and server infrastructure.
• Coordinate remediation activities internally and with third‑party service providers.
• Track completion of cybersecurity action plans and corrective measures.
• Prepare operational, risk and executive‑level cybersecurity reports.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend improvements.
• Develop and improve processes for security monitoring and incident management.
• Support governance, compliance and risk management initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments.
• At least 1 year experience preparing and tracking operational or security reports.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives, coordinate teams and drive continuous improvement.
