Data Analyst Intern - Care & Shipping Analytics

About the role

Back Market's Care & Shipping Data Analytics team turns operational data into actionable insights to improve process efficiency and customer satisfaction across Customer Care, Seller Care, Quality and Shipping. It partners with business stakeholders, maintains monitoring tools and gives clear recommendations to support daily operations and long-term decisions. This is a 5-6 month full-time internship (35 hours per week) starting in January 2027, based in Barcelona.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze data in depth to help Operations Specialists improve process efficiency and customer satisfaction across Customer Care, Seller Care, Quality and Shipping
• Contribute to strategy by thinking beyond immediate analysis and understanding the long-term implications of actions
• Work closely with business stakeholders, sharing analysis and recommendations to gain their buy-in
• Maintain, update and improve monitoring tools (SQL, Omni)
• Mentor business stakeholders on their data needs

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management or Engineering, with a specialization in data and analytics or equivalent
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain work to a non-technical audience
• Ability to work autonomously, enjoy concrete tasks and be a team player
• Fluent English
• Current French university can provide an internship agreement

Required skills

• Data analytics, visualization and modeling, including SQL
• Ideally experience with Omni, Google Analytics/Datastudio and Amplitude
