Data & Analytics Intern – September/October 2026

About the role

Metyis AG is seeking a motivated Data & Analytics Intern to join its Barcelona (or Madrid) office for a September/October 2026 start. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of strategists, data engineers, analysts and scientists, applying theoretical knowledge to real‑world client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Solve data science and analytics problems for clients using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines (ETL) to extract, transform and load data from diverse sources.
• Support data‑warehousing and data‑modelling activities, ensuring data quality and governance.
• Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts and software engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and stay updated on emerging data‑engineering technologies.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a quantitative Master’s program (e.g., econometrics, mathematics, physics, business analytics or related fields).
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data‑analysis methodologies.
• Ability to work on client‑facing tasks and balance multiple project responsibilities.
