DevOps Engineer

About the role

Join Santander’s Chief Data & Artificial Intelligence division as a DevOps Engineer based in Madrid. You will enable the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI solutions, ensuring the infrastructure and automation pipelines support the full AI lifecycle from experimentation to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML models and Generative AI applications.
• Build and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS or GCP to support data ingestion, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and high availability of AI services in production environments.
• Implement MLOps best practices, including model versioning, monitoring, rollback, and automated testing.
• Collaborate closely with AI experts, data scientists, ML engineers, and enterprise technology partners.

Required profile

• Strong background in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, preferably within AI/ML contexts.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and IaC tools.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and deliver high‑quality, secure, and reliable solutions.
