Electrical System Installation Design Engineer

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an Electrical System Installation Design Engineer to join its Military Derivatives team in Getafe, Spain. You will contribute to a new European sovereign military programme, covering the full lifecycle from architecture definition to in‑service support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate electrical harnesses, boxes and control‑unit installations, ensuring compliance with design principles and regulations.
• Manage complex systems integration, collaborating with industrial, production and other engineering offices to define interfaces.
• Support quality, purchasing, supply‑chain and production teams with technical expertise.
• Participate in collaborative and concurrence processes across all project phases.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in electrical systems installation.
• Full professional proficiency in English and advanced Spanish; French is a plus.
• Eligibility for, or holding, a recognised security clearance.
