Enterprise & Domain Architect

About the role

DWS is looking for an Enterprise & Domain Architect in Madrid to own the architecture strategy, target architecture and transition plan for its Core Business & Operations area. The role combines enterprise architecture expertise with domain-specific knowledge of finance, risk and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.
• Oversee the integration of new technologies and processes into the existing IT environment, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
• Work with business leaders, IT teams and other stakeholders to turn business needs into technical solutions.
• Establish and enforce architectural standards and guidelines for consistency and compliance.
• Identify risks in the IT infrastructure and develop mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Enterprise architecture expertise, preferably with TOGAF certification or practical application in large organisations.
• Proven experience developing technology strategies and architecting solutions across Finance, Risk and operational domains.
• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives such as cloud adoption, platform modernisation and automation programmes.
• Significant experience in the Finance or Banking industry, and asset management experience with investment and operational processes.
• Ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.

Required skills

• TOGAF architecture framework.
• IT strategy, target-state architecture, roadmap development and transformation planning.
• Working knowledge of AI tools and emerging technologies.
• IT governance, architecture standards, risk controls, regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
