Facilities Manager – South Spain

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Facilities Manager for its South Spain portfolio. The role supports the Regional Facilities Manager in delivering high‑quality building standards, health and safety compliance, and overall asset functionality across multiple properties.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a role model, demonstrating Greystar’s core values in daily operations.
• Coordinate with local teams to improve service delivery and resolve resident service issues.
• Assign, monitor, and ensure timely completion of work orders generated from resident requests.
• Oversee routine upkeep, diagnose defects, and perform repairs in line with policies and safety standards.
• Monitor mechanical, electrical and other building services to ensure equipment reaches its expected lifespan; report major defects and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders (project managers, fire services) to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical specifications for fabric, electrical and mechanical works and act as the point of contact for capital‑works handover.
• Prepare monthly reports on preventive maintenance (PPM), lifecycle replacements and contractor performance.
