Finance Manager (Accounting & Consolidation) - HQ

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for an Accounting & Reporting Manager in Barcelona. The role oversees the month-end closing and audit processes for the legal entities in Italy, Portugal, Spain and Poland, leads a team of 4-6 accountants and ensures reporting deadlines are met while complying with local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the month-end closing of the Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Polish legal entities.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Lead a team of 4-6 accountants from local and international markets.
• Ensure financial audits are submitted on time and collaborate with external auditors.
• Review and approve monthly reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L.
• Ensure compliance with local tax legislation and adoption of accounting and financial policies in line with legislation.
• Map process improvements with the Accounting PMO and take part in implementing local ERPs and finance projects.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis explaining P&L deviations from the Business Plan.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• 8+ years of accounting experience in multinational companies.
• People management experience.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• General ledger and month-end/year-end closing.
• GAAP/IFRS.
• Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• SAP S4/HANA and OneStream are a plus; ERP migration and project management experience are a plus.
