Forward Deployment Engineer – AI Solutions for Finance

About the role

We are looking for a Forward Deployment Engineer to bridge enterprise AI platforms with finance business functions for a Fortune 100 client. You will translate ambiguous financial challenges into working AI applications, prototype tools quickly, and deploy them in highly regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions for Finance units, from discovery with CFO stakeholders to production deployment and ROI measurement.
• Rapidly prototype user‑facing tools using Streamlit, Databricks Apps, FastAPI/Flask, or lightweight React interfaces within 1‑2 weeks.
• Build production‑grade vertical AI tools leveraging Snowflake Cortex or Databricks Genie, including robust RAG pipelines and vector‑database integration.
• Implement LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex) with rigorous prompt engineering and hallucination control.
• Deploy applications in regulated environments, ensuring compliance with RBAC, SOX, GxP, data residency, and audit requirements.
• Connect solutions to governed datasets and core enterprise platforms (SAP, Workday, Coupa, ERP) via secure REST APIs.
• Instrument all apps with usage metrics, telemetry, and business outcome tracking.

Required profile

• Senior‑level technical lead with strong product mindset.
• Proven experience delivering AI solutions in finance or other regulated domains.
• Ability to work closely with senior finance leadership and translate business needs into technical specifications.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Streamlit, FastAPI, Flask, React.
• Snowflake Cortex (Analyst/Search/Agents) and Databricks Genie.
• Vector databases: Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Azure AI Search, Cortex Search.
• LLM orchestration: LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex.
• Prompt engineering, RAG pipeline design, retrieval evaluation.
• REST API integration with SAP, Workday, Coupa, ERP.
• Compliance knowledge (SOX, GxP, RBAC, data residency).
