Founding Forward Deployed Engineer – French Speaking

About the role

HappyRobot is building the infrastructure that lets enterprises create and run autonomous AI workforces. We are looking for a founding Forward Deployed Engineer who speaks French fluently to join our early France team. You will work directly with customers to implement, optimize, and extend our AI platform while contributing to product innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Guide customers through onboarding, integration, and ongoing usage of HappyRobot’s AI solutions.
• Develop new features, MVPs, and scalable full‑stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
• Design, implement, and iterate AI/ML components such as LLM prompting, voice tuning, and transcription services.
• Manage API integrations with third‑party systems to ensure seamless functionality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Continuously improve solutions based on customer feedback and evolving requirements.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.

Required profile

• Native or fluent French speaker (C1/C2 level) for direct customer communication.
• Strong full‑stack development experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Python.
• Experience building AI/ML applications, including LLM prompting and model tuning.
• Ability to design and integrate APIs with external systems.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
