HTA Programmer (SAS & R) with German – Spain-based (Remote/Hybrid)

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a highly motivated HTA Programmer (Analyst/Consultant) to support health technology assessment (AMNOG) and market access activities in Germany. The role suits biostatisticians or data scientists who want to apply clinical evidence to reimbursement decisions. It is based in Spain (Madrid) and can be remote or hybrid, with a substantial part involving statistical programming.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming of statistical analyses for Module 4
• Analyse clinical trial data for efficacy, safety, patient-relevant endpoints and subgroup analyses
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons and interpret statistical outputs
• Automate and standardise analysis workflows for efficiency, consistency and reproducibility
• Work with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs and the EU-HTA team
• Ensure scientific quality and consistency of results, and monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G‑BA and other HTA bodies

Required profile

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science or a related field
• Experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR or market access (industry, consultancy or research institute preferred)
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken (absolute requirement)
• 2+ years of advanced SAS programming; R is an advantage
• 2+ years of hands-on clinical data analysis with CDISC SDTM/ADaM

Required skills

• Familiarity with AMNOG, IQWiG or G‑BA procedures is an advantage
