Information Security Officer

About the role

Solera is seeking an Information Security Officer to strengthen and scale its global security and compliance posture. The role will own the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and drive ISO/IEC 27001 certification while leading the implementation of TISAX across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve Solera’s ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS, including policies, controls, risk assessments, and documentation.
• Ensure audit readiness by coordinating internal audits, supporting external certification and surveillance audits, and driving timely remediation of findings.
• Lead end‑to‑end TISAX implementation, covering scope definition, gap assessments, stakeholder alignment, and certification.
• Establish and maintain a robust risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks.
• Partner with IT, Engineering, Legal, Procurement, and business leaders to embed security and compliance requirements into daily operations and third‑party management.
• Provide guidance and education to promote a strong security culture across the organization.
• Monitor evolving regulatory and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing and maintaining an ISO/IEC 27001‑certified ISMS in a global or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management, and audit processes.
• Experience working directly with auditors, certification bodies, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex security requirements into practical, business‑aligned solutions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven mindset capable of operating independently and driving initiatives forward.
