iOS Engineer

About the role

Frekuent is looking for an iOS Engineer to join its fast‑growing team in Barcelona. You will be responsible for creating high‑quality, performant mobile experiences that align with the company’s payment‑focused vision.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced iOS applications using Swift while adhering to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
• Apply clean‑architecture principles and design patterns such as MVP, MVVM, VIPER, and modern SwiftUI approaches with unidirectional data flow.
• Write unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure stability, performance, and security of the app.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle JSON data efficiently.
• Use Git for version control, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code and development processes.
• Stay current with iOS development trends and continuously improve technical skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong passion for building high‑quality mobile applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
