Jefe/a de Partida (Cocina)

About the role

We are looking for a Head Chef de Partie to lead a kitchen station at Barceló Fuerteventura Mar. The role involves organizing the preparation of ingredients, supervising the cooking team and ensuring high standards of food safety and quality in a 4‑/5‑star hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the preparation of the station, including raw materials and supplies, and allocate tasks for efficient workflow.
• Develop and supervise recipes based on menu cycles and best food‑handling practices, meeting guest expectations.
• Direct and supervise assistants and cooks in the preparation of dishes for the station.
• Oversee cleaning, preservation and restocking of food items within the station.
• Maintain hygiene‑sanitary records and apply the required controls for the station.
• Assist with basic receiving, storage and internal replenishment operations following established procedures.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in Kitchen Management or Hospitality, or a degree in Tourism.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar kitchen‑station role, preferably in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation and ability to plan, organise and solve problems.
