Junior Payments Analyst

About the role

Fever, a global platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring a Junior Payments Analyst for its Treasury team in Madrid. The Treasury team keeps global operations running by managing payments, cash across countries and currencies, and forecasting needs while working with banking partners. It also handles employee and travel expenses, supports stock options and investor relations, and works with teams such as Fever Originals, Legal, Operations and New Ventures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute daily and periodic payments across Fever's international entities, on time and accurately.
• Review and validate payment instructions, supporting documents, bank details and payment files against internal policies and controls.
• Monitor payment flows from start to finish and resolve failed, rejected, delayed or exceptional payments.
• Work with banking partners to resolve payment issues and keep banking operations smooth across countries and currencies.
• Reconcile bank transactions and investigate discrepancies between bank statements, the ERP and actual payments.
• Monitor available funds and escalation of potential funding issues, and support intercompany transfers between entities.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Accounts Payable and other teams to coordinate payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare regular reports on payment activity, pending payments, exceptions, reconciliation status and operational KPIs.
• Support automation of payment processes, including bank integrations, payment files, ERP workflows and automated reconciliation tools, and identify improvements to controls and efficiency.

Required profile

• 0-2 years of experience.
• University or master's degree with a finance background.
• Bilingual Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, time management and analytical skills, able to spot trends and anomalies in large datasets.
• Proactive, self-starting attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and database management.
• Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, databases or data mining is desirable.
