Lead Graphic Designer

About the role

Dragons, a global creative agency, is seeking a Lead Graphic Designer who can blend strong visual storytelling with strategic thinking. The role will shape design direction for bold brands across digital touchpoints, ensuring consistency and cultural relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and structure design teams, defining roles and fostering sustainable ways of working.
• Translate brand strategies into scalable design systems and ensure consistent application.
• Establish, evolve, and safeguard design processes, workflows, and quality standards.
• Coach and mentor designers, raising craft, confidence, and accountability.
• Oversee end‑to‑end design delivery, managing multiple workstreams in parallel.
• Identify and drive efficiency, innovation, and scale, including AI‑enabled workflows.
• Own a key account and act as a trusted design partner to leadership.
• Collaborate closely with Strategy, Creative, and other departments to deliver cohesive outcomes.

Required profile

• 7‑8 years of experience as a Graphic Designer.
• Proven experience with FMCG brands in complex, multi‑market environments.
• Strong background in brand systems, content ecosystems, and 360° campaigns.
• Managerial experience leading senior, junior, and studio‑level designers.
• Excellent communication skills and a confident client‑facing presence.
• Ability to manage budgets, scopes, timelines, and resourcing constraints.
• High ownership, reliability, and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
