Lead Mobile App Developer

About the role

This position is for a Lead Mobile App Developer based in Spain, working remotely to drive the creation of high‑quality Android and iOS applications used by customers worldwide. You will combine hands‑on engineering with technical leadership, guiding a team to deliver scalable, reliable mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Define technical strategy, architecture patterns and best‑practice development processes.
• Conduct detailed code reviews, ensuring coding standards, performance optimization and security.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners and cross‑functional teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Integrate external APIs, data sources and third‑party services into mobile apps.
• Write and maintain robust unit tests and monitor live application performance.
• Support debugging, resolve complex technical issues and continuously improve app performance.
• Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and promote knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Strong leadership abilities and a passion for mentoring engineers.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality, production‑grade mobile products.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a remote, product‑focused environment.
