Lead Specialist, Inventory

About the role

As the Lead Specialist, Inventory you will own inventory performance for assigned manufacturing plants and distribution sites in Barcelona. You will drive improvements in inventory health, reduce obsolescence and physical losses, and ensure high‑quality inventory outcomes through cross‑functional collaboration and data‑driven insight.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead inventory management activities across assigned Taste EUR plants and distribution locations.
• Govern inventory losses and provisions with Plant Directors, Finance, Quality, Operations and Planning.
• Analyse inventory performance, identify loss drivers, lead root‑cause reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor established inventory KPIs, provide risk visibility and actionable reporting.
• Review planning parameters, inventory policies and master data, flag issues and support improvements.
• Partner with materials and capacity planning teams to refine monitoring routines and mitigate overstock risks over a rolling six‑month horizon.

Required profile

• University degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Logistics or Economics.
• 2–3 years of experience in supply‑chain planning or inventory management.
• Basic finance understanding is a plus.
• Fluent in English; French is an advantage.
• Collaborative mindset with strong accountability.
