Market Development Specialist - Cardiovascular Diagnostics

About the role

Medtronic's Cardiovascular Diagnostics & Services (CDS) business is looking for a Market Development Specialist to expand the adoption of its Insertable Cardiac Monitors (ICMs) among patients with syncope and cryptogenic stroke. The territory covers Castilla-León, Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, País Vasco, Navarra and La Rioja, with a preferred base in Valladolid or Salamanca or another central location. Occasional travel within Europe may be required.

Key responsibilities

• Expand the use of ICMs in existing clinics and new centers and identify new opportunities in the territory
• Help build patient pathways for syncope and cryptogenic stroke and support centers of excellence with healthcare providers
• Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders such as cardiologists, neurologists, nurses, procurement teams and coding professionals
• Partner with the local sales team to raise awareness of clinical indications and economic value through education, workshops and roundtables
• Work with field service, marketing, reimbursement and other business units to develop materials and run national and international programs
• Develop and run an annual regional market development plan, track KPIs and report clinical, market and competitive insights to the Strategic Marketing Team
• Represent the business at regional, national and international meetings and congresses

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing or a related field
• At least 5 years of sales experience in MedTech or pharma, or a nursing background in cardiology, neurology, ICU, OR or emergency medicine, or equivalent experience
• Experience in a clinical environment or in medical technology sales
• Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

• Salary range in Spain of 41,600 to 62,400 EUR
