Mid-Level Project Manager - Real Estate & Industrial Projects

About the role

IPS is an international company offering in-house engineering and specialized services, including project management, automation and architecture, with EPCM expertise in more than 10 countries. It is looking for a mid-level project manager for real estate and industrial projects, based in its Malaga office with weekly visits to other offices. The role covers the full project journey, from planning to execution, working closely with an international team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects of all sizes, from small improvements to large developments, defining technical solutions and organizing technical alignment on equipment, facilities, utilities, components, products and systems.
• Project feasibility: define goals, layouts, schedules, procurement strategies and financial planning.
• Project preparation: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing and procurement.
• Project realization: oversee detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning and operational management.
• Maintain and oversee part of or the complete project process, prepare status reports and deliver documentation on schedule.

Required profile

• Degree or master's in civil engineer, road engineer, architect or technical architect.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions, including at least 2 years in project management.
• Experience in residential, industrial warehousing, hotel and office projects.
• Ideal: experience covering the full life cycle of a civil project, from master planning and feasibility to permitting, civil works, contracting and construction management.
• Ability to handle many tasks and prioritize them appropriately.
• Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• Willingness to move between Malaga and Madrid, and international mobility depending on the project.
