Portuguese Delivery Payroll Senior Associate

About the role

Strada, a people, payroll and technology leader operating in 180+ countries, is hiring a Portuguese Delivery Payroll Senior Associate for a remote position covering Spain and Portugal. The role supports the team executing payroll and post-payroll activities and/or data management and customer service activities, ensuring accurate and on-time output. The candidate may focus on payroll and/or customer service and will be flexible in supporting either as or when required.

Key responsibilities

• Independently process payroll end to end according to agreed calendars, KPIs and standards, or carry out data management or customer service activities
• Support statutory and year-end reporting
• Advise clients on queries using payroll expertise and country-specific legislation
• Mentor apprentices and associates, run knowledge transfer sessions and maintain DWIs
• Respond to tickets and calls within SLAs, support system maintenance testing and report defects
• Liaise with third parties, complete SOC controls and support root cause analysis
• Follow security standards, record time accurately, update stakeholders and take part in projects as assigned

Required profile

• BA/BS in a business-related field such as accounting, human resources or business administration, or equivalent education and experience
• 2-3 years of experience administering payroll or health and welfare/benefits in an HR consulting, outsourcing or corporate environment
• Current and future work authorization in the country of application, without visa sponsorship
• Flexibility for a global, fast-paced environment, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal skills

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Copilot
• HRIS: Workday, SSFF, Oracle; ERP: SAP preferred, or A3 or PeopleSoft
• Desirable: experience with HR and payroll data
