QA Director for Monopoly GO! (Hybrid, Seville)

About the role

Scopely is seeking a QA Director to lead quality assurance for the flagship mobile title Monopoly GO! based in Seville. The role is hybrid and includes relocation assistance. Reporting to the Senior QA Director (EU), you will shape the QA strategy, drive AI‑powered testing, and ensure release quality for a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the QA strategy and testing framework for the Vertical Group, ensuring scalability and continuous improvement.
• Champion AI‑powered QA solutions and automation to optimise defect detection and accelerate release cycles.
• Lead QA resourcing, annual planning and allocation across projects.
• Build, mentor and develop QA leadership, creating clear career paths.
• Promote a culture of quality by embedding best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Establish and evolve quality metrics and KPIs, using data for performance and decision‑making.
• Oversee external QA partners, managing expectations and delivery standards.
• Ensure release quality, manage risks, investigate critical issues and drive long‑term solutions.
• Provide reporting, risk visibility and strategic insights to senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA tooling, processes and documentation (e.g., Confluence).

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in QA, with a track record of managing and scaling teams in a live‑service or fast‑paced environment.
• Strong advocacy for AI to enhance QA workflows and outcomes.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to define and drive QA initiatives.
• Ability to act as a role model for company values and foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
