Regional Commercial Director (EU) – Fintech Payments

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Commercial Director (EU) to lead commercial growth across European markets. Based in Spain and working fully remote, you will shape high‑value client relationships and drive enterprise‑level payment solutions for a fast‑growing fintech organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to acquire and retain enterprise customers throughout Europe.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high‑value opportunities aligned with growth targets.
• Lead consultative sales cycles, from prospecting to negotiation, contracting and closing.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders on payment solutions, cross‑border expansion and operational optimisation.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance and Operations teams to design scalable commercial offerings.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to uncover new growth avenues.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to boost brand visibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales or commercial leadership.
• At least 2 years within fintech, payment services or online payments.
• Proven track record selling payment solutions such as card acquiring and alternative payment methods.
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, merchant acquiring and enterprise customer requirements.
• Ability to generate leads, manage long sales cycles and close complex B2B deals.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across large organisations.
