Satellite AIT Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) Engineer to join our Valencia site and support the production of next‑generation satellite systems. The role is hands‑on and focuses on ensuring reliable assembly, integration, verification and testing of complex spacecraft hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Execute satellite assembly, integration and testing activities on the production floor.
• Support subsystem integration, guaranteeing manufacturability, testability and configuration consistency.
• Participate in production readiness and design reviews (PRR, CDR) to smooth the transition from design to production.
• Perform system‑level verification and validation, including functional, environmental and EMC testing.
• Troubleshoot integration and testing issues, coordinating with engineering, QA and production teams.
• Prepare and improve AIT documentation such as procedures, test plans, checklists and configuration records.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on reliability, repeatability and efficiency.
• Support root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Mentor local engineers and technicians, promoting best practices and a strong quality culture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in satellite systems development, integration, testing or production.
• Strong background in multidisciplinary engineering environments from a systems‑engineering perspective.
• Proven ability to identify integration risks and troubleshoot cross‑disciplinary issues.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
