S&C Finance Transformation Senior Manager

About the role

Accenture's CFO & Enterprise Value practice in Strategy & Consulting is looking for a Finance Transformation Senior Manager in Madrid. You will work with CFOs, CEOs and executive leadership teams to define finance strategies, design target operating models and lead large-scale transformation programmes covering finance transformation, operating model redesign, performance improvement, digital enablement and AI-powered innovation. The role is hybrid, combining remote work with on-site collaboration in the Madrid office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance strategy and enterprise value engagements focused on performance improvement, value creation, transformation and growth.
• Advise CFOs and executive leadership teams on operating models, performance management, cost optimisation, profitability improvement and capital efficiency.
• Define target finance operating models across organisation, governance, capabilities, sourcing, processes, data and technology.
• Lead the development of strategic roadmaps, transformation plans and business cases, quantifying value and prioritising initiatives.
• Oversee the redesign of core finance processes such as P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A, Treasury, Tax and Controlling.
• Drive finance digital transformation using ERP, EPM, Cloud, Data & Analytics, Automation, AI and GenAI.
• Assess the impact of digital, data and AI capabilities on the Finance function and decision making.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across Strategy, Consulting, Technology, Data & AI and build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development, account growth, proposal development and thought leadership.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Strategy Consulting, Management Consulting, Financial Advisory, Big 4, Corporate Strategy, Finance Transformation or similar senior advisory roles.
• Proven track record leading complex strategy and transformation engagements from definition through execution.
• Strong experience managing executive-level stakeholders, including CFOs and C-suite executives.
• Experience defining transformation roadmaps, business cases and value realisation initiatives.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior professionals.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in finance strategy, enterprise value, operating model design and finance process transformation.
• Understanding of finance technologies such as ERP, EPM, Analytics, Automation, Cloud, AI and GenAI.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, synthesise insights and craft strategic narratives for executives.
• Business development mindset, with experience in account growth, proposals or offering creation.
