Senior Associate – AI & Analytics

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its AI & Analytics team in Barcelona. You will work on designing, building and deploying AI‑driven solutions that turn raw data into actionable insights for our clients. The role combines data engineering, advanced analytics and machine learning to support data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI systems, including data wrangling, model deployment and scalability strategies.
• Develop and execute geo‑analytics, predictive and optimisation models for client projects.
• Lead data‑gathering, cloud data architecture and data transformation initiatives.
• Drive generative AI projects, applying indexing and prompting techniques.
• Mentor junior associates, review work for quality and ensure adherence to PwC’s ethical standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in AI or analytics consulting, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to structure unstructured business challenges.
• Effective communication and coaching abilities to guide junior team members.
• Commitment to PwC’s professional values and code of conduct.
