Senior Game Designer

About the role

This senior position is based in Spain and focuses on shaping highly engaging casual and hybrid‑casual mobile games played by millions worldwide. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, turning creative ideas and data‑driven insights into live game features that boost player engagement and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop game systems, mechanics, features, and content for both live and new mobile titles.
• Balance in‑game economies, monetization systems, and progression loops to optimize engagement and business performance.
• Analyze live game performance, KPIs, and player behavior to propose data‑driven design improvements.
• Support and evolve live‑ops events, creating new content that increases retention.
• Collaborate with product owners to define requirements, shape roadmaps, and translate business goals into clear design direction.
• Produce comprehensive design documentation, including feature specs, flows, UX/UI concepts, and system designs.
• Work closely with developers, artists, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation.
• Participate in playtesting, collect feedback, and iterate on mechanics to continuously improve player experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of game design experience in a mobile free‑to‑play studio, preferably casual or hybrid‑casual.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data and KPIs for design decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document complex design concepts.
• Deep passion for mobile casual and hybrid‑casual games and awareness of market trends.
• Proactive, self‑driven, and comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams.
