Senior Software Engineer - AI Agents & Developer Platform

About the role

Fever, a global platform for culture and live entertainment, is building the team that defines how AI transforms its product engineering. This is a backend-first role within the AI & DevEx team, which aims to raise the performance of the whole product engineering organization, including CI/CD, observability, infrastructure, data and collaboration. You will build the harnesses, evals and infrastructure that let AI agents deliver reliable, high-quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Build the agentic harness: skills, sub-agents, guardrails and verification systems that make agents produce trustworthy output.
• Build the shared knowledge base that agents read from and write into, growing it from team level to company-wide.
• Own the cloud development environments, CI runtime and delivery rails that turn a request into an agent run and a reviewable pull request.
• Find where AI removes friction in planning, coordination and communication across squads.
• Build evaluation and metrics systems (baselines, before/after comparisons, DORA metrics, lead time, real adoption).
• Optimize AI workflows for speed and cost: model routing, prompt caching, and choosing self-hosted versus frontier models.
• Ensure testing, design patterns, CI/CD and observability, with production-grade software.

Required profile

• 5+ years building and operating production software at meaningful scale, with end-to-end ownership.
• 1 to 2+ years shipping LLM applications to production, with hands-on context engineering, RAG, multi-agent orchestration and evals.
• Has personally authored skills, sub-agents, evals or verification harnesses.
• Proficient business English.
• Bonus: public work on agent harnesses or developer experience, internal tool or developer platform experience, comfort with ambiguity at startup speed.
