SMB & Commercial Digital Sales Representative - Spain

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring an SMB & Commercial Digital Sales Representative for Spain, based in Las Rozas. The role is designed as onsite, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. It covers managing assigned accounts, building and forecasting the sales pipeline, working with outside sales, channel partners and end customers, and setting and executing the sales strategy for the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Sell complex solutions, products and services for a set of assigned accounts, and give input on sales strategy and quota forecasts.
• Create an account plan and recommend actions for each complex account.
• Generate, qualify and review new leads, and work with partners or field sales to close deals.
• Understand client needs and use knowledge of the product portfolio to drive new acquisitions and retention.
• Lead targeted pipeline building, forecast and plan data-driven sales activity.
• Provide coaching to team members, depending on the role.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field (IT or sales preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant work experience; industry experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated account management, acquisition, retention and development skills.
• Knowledge of IT and/or industry solutions and products, and of the company's product portfolio.
• Communication and negotiation skills, and ability to lead and work within a team.
• The role may call for a hunter approach or a strategic farmer/relationship-selling approach.

Required skills

• Knowledge of a CRM system or Salesforce.
• Understanding of the sales process.
