System Administrator

About the role

YoBrands is seeking a System Administrator with advanced Linux expertise to support its growing online gaming platform. You will work on the infrastructure that powers multiple brands across Spain and Portugal, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain all company websites at the infrastructure level.
• Create new sites for emerging jurisdictions and markets.
• Update and monitor software versions and emerging technologies.
• Install and manage both new and existing infrastructure components.
• Provide technical support and reporting during internal and external audits.
• Automate periodic reporting to gaming control entities and enhance existing reporting tools.

Required profile

• Residency in the Barcelona area (or willingness to relocate).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar system administration role.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.

Required skills

• Linux (advanced knowledge)
• VMware ESX virtualization
• Web servers: NGINX and Apache
• Monitoring tools and systems
• Database administration with MariaDB
• Version control: SVN and Git
• Linux services: iptables, NTP, VPN, FTPS
• Scripting for automation (Bash/Python)
