Técnico/a SER

About the role

Barcelo Hotel Group is looking for a Técnico/a SER to lead the definition, implementation and monitoring of operational standards and differentiated experiences across its hotels. The role supports the internal SER brand, which drives the group’s management model and training framework.

Key responsibilities

• Define and update operational standards and procedures.
• Create manuals for gastronomic concepts and differentiated guest experiences.
• Identify and standardise best‑practice operational processes.
• Participate in supplier selection and evaluation to ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Manage HACCP results and ensure food safety compliance.
• Maintain and update content on the SER knowledge platform.
• Conduct audit follow‑up and control activities for hotels.
• Support hotel openings and ongoing operational follow‑up.
• Assist HR in delivering on‑site training sessions and developing online training content.

Required profile

• University or higher technical education in Hospitality, Tourism, or Food & Beverage Management (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of experience in management or supervisory roles within operational departments.
• Proven experience in standardisation, process improvement, and supplier management.

Required skills

• HACCP (food safety management).
