Access Operation - System Engineer (100%)

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a System Engineer for its Access Operation team in Madrid, working 100% on operating and maintaining Access Management in an international environment. The role covers managing authorisation objects in Microsoft Active Directory and applications, incident resolution, access recertification support, provisioning reports and user advice.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Access Management according to the service catalogue
• Process customer orders in line with company policies
• Plan, design, operate, control, monitor and maintain authorisation objects (groups and users) in Active Directory and other applications
• Contribute conceptually to access management, including authorisation models and processes
• Take part in various projects
• Prepare provisioning reports, evaluations and documentation of Access Management processes
• Evaluate and limit incidents, and start blocking and escalation procedures
• Advise users on operational matters and exceptional situations

Required profile

• A recognised degree in IT or five years of experience as a Microsoft Active Directory system administrator
• Effective organisation skills, able to work on several projects at once
• Ability to work independently, with reliability and resilience
• Service orientation towards internal and external customers
• Excellent spoken and written English; understanding of the financial industry is an advantage

Required skills

• Microsoft Active Directory administration (MCSA certification is an advantage)
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions is a great advantage
• Understanding of IT security needs and standards in the financial industry
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office products
