ServiceNow Developer (ITSM, GRC, SecOps)

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join its IT Service Management engineering team in Madrid. You will mainly develop, but not be restricted to, ITSM, GRC/IRM and SecOps streams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complex, scalable applications and module extensions for Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, Audit, Risk Assessment and Threat Response workflows
• Build secure integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems (SIEM, IAM, ERP, cloud platforms) using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server and event-based messaging
• Engineer automation flows for governance, security operations and service delivery
• Optimise performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks and memory leaks, and run root cause analysis
• Enforce security policies, RBAC, segregation of duties and audit requirements
• Work with architects, delivery managers, compliance officers and business stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong focus on ITSM modules
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in GRC and/or SecOps module development and configuration
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Custom Applications certifications
• Fluent written and spoken English; other languages are an asset

Required skills

• JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Client Scripts, REST Message APIs, Flow Designer)
• Instance management, update sets, CI/CD pipelines, scoped applications and upgrade-safe development
• ITIL frameworks and ITSM tools, especially ServiceNow
• Integration with external systems via integration hubs, middleware or direct APIs
