Accountant Clerk - Accounts Payable

About the role

Medline is looking for an Accountant Clerk to join its Finance department in Madrid. The role supports the Accounts Payable (AP) function by handling invoice processing, payment preparation, expense report review, supplier maintenance and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and verify incoming invoices
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Create and maintain supplier records
• Execute timely invoice payments
• Review, follow up on and process employee expense reports
• Manage SII (Immediate Supply of Information) compliance
• Support finance-related projects and assist with internal and external audits
• Perform other duties related to the AP function as needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Bilingual Spanish and fluent Italian
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Required skills

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
