Principal Analyst - Expense Lead, EMEA & APAC

About the role

MiniMed is hiring a Principal Analyst - Expense Lead for its EMEA and APAC regions. The role sits in the Central FP&A team and is the primary owner of Operating Expense (OpEx) management, building advanced analytics, ensuring cost discipline and setting the forecast process. It suits a proactive, analytical finance professional who can work independently, partner with Controllership and move between strategic overview and detailed analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end OpEx planning, forecasting and variance analysis for EMEA and APAC, monitor spend trends and escalate material variances
• Maintain monthly and quarterly expense reporting packages for senior leadership and act as Finance Partner to commercial functions
• Lead monthly rolling forecasts and the annual operating plan, provide scenario analysis and align headcount plans with expense forecasts
• Serve as FP&A liaison to Controllership on month-end and quarter-end close, review accruals, reclassifications and journal entries, and support audits
• Drive the expense analytics agenda at the Pune FP&A Center of Excellence, lead automation with tools such as Power BI, OneStream, Excel/VBA and mentor junior analysts

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• 6+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience
• Experience supporting multi-country regions and matrix organizations
• Preferred: MBA, CPA, CMA, CA or equivalent; Global CoE or Shared Services experience; MedTech, healthcare or life sciences background
