Active Directory Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Specialist to maintain, secure, and optimise our multi‑forest AD environment. The role involves hands‑on troubleshooting, implementation of security models, and supporting Azure‑based directory services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert troubleshooting for multi‑forest Active Directory services (DFS, DNS, WINS, LDAP, etc.).
• Promote and demote domain controllers as required.
• Support AD name resolution technologies including DNS, WINS, DHCP, and Infoblox.
• Implement AD security methodologies such as JEA, JIT, delegation models, and tiered admin models.
• Perform AD schema extensions and create PowerShell scripts.
• Support Azure AD, Azure AD Domain Services and related Azure technologies.
• Deliver IDAM projects, design processes and simplify complex IDAM tools.
• Maintain security, standards and high availability of the AD architecture.
• Design and review changes to Active Directory focusing on structure, delegation, tiering and management.

Required profile

• Proven experience troubleshooting multi‑forest Active Directory environments.
• Strong background in managing domain controllers and name‑resolution services.
• Hands‑on expertise with AD security models (JEA, JIT, delegation, tiered admin).
• Experience delivering Identity and Access Management (IDAM) projects.
