Aerostructure Buyer (Procurement & Contract Management)

About the role

Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid) is looking for a Procurement & Contract Manager to join its Purchasing Team. The role manages supplier relationships, contract negotiation and procurement strategy across product lifecycles, optimising customer value while minimising total cost of ownership and risks.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to sourcing activities, manage tendering processes and negotiate contract terms to obtain optimal purchasing conditions.
• Monitor contract compliance and supplier performance across innovation, development, serial and support phases, covering logistics, quality, cost and support.
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and oversee active projects to maximise customer value and mitigate operational risks.
• Take part as a core member of multifunctional and multidivisional teams during tendering, contracting and lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in procurement, contract management or strategic sourcing.
• Advanced English.
• Nice to have: experience in aerospace or complex industrial procurement.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation ability and adaptability to networked work.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law, supplier management methodologies and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
