AI Adoption Intern

About the role

HP Barcelona is looking for an AI Adoption Intern to support its UK & Ireland Customer Support team in finding ways to use AI and automation. The internship runs from February to June-July 2027, is paid, and lasts between 4 and 12 months. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Spanish university, stay enrolled until the end of the internship, and be able to sign an internship agreement with their university.

Key responsibilities

• Identify repetitive and manual tasks in the UK & Ireland Customer Support team that could benefit from AI or automation.
• Research and test practical uses of Microsoft 365 Copilot and other HP-approved AI tools.
• Develop simple AI-enabled solutions, prompts, agents and automations under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Simplify recurring reporting and administrative activities, then test solutions, collect feedback and improve them.
• Support AI demonstrations, knowledge-sharing sessions and adoption activities, and track benefits such as time saved and reduced manual effort.
• Ensure compliance with HP requirements for security, privacy, confidentiality and responsible AI, and share successful use cases with the wider EMEA Field & Channel teams.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong interest in AI, Generative AI, automation and digital transformation.
• Some practical experience with Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate or Copilot Studio is an advantage.
• Analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills, with good communication and presentation abilities.
