AI-Assisted Fuel Transaction Reconciliation Intern

About the role

The Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) is looking for a motivated intern to join its Enterprise Solutions Service in Valencia, Spain. This role focuses on developing an AI‑assisted solution for reconciling fuel transactions, providing hands‑on experience with modern software development practices in a United Nations environment.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain code in Java, React and Python.
• Deploy, test and debug the application in a cloud‑based environment.
• Commit code to the Git repository and follow version‑control best practices.
• Participate in weekly sprint meetings and contribute to agile planning.
• Prepare documentation and demo the application to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and respect group decisions.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities, with attention to deadlines and risk management.
