AI & Data Adoption Specialist

About the role

Santander is transforming into a technology‑driven organization and is looking for an AI & Data Adoption Specialist to accelerate its data and AI agenda within Wealth Management & Insurance. The role bridges business, data, and AI teams to ensure that AI solutions are aligned with data strategy and deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Support the definition and execution of the Data & AI strategy in line with WMI business objectives and Santander’s global roadmap.
• Translate business needs into AI and data‑driven initiatives with clear value propositions.
• Identify, prioritize, and shape high‑impact AI/GenAI use cases across personalization, advisory, operations, and risk.
• Act as the primary interface between business units and technical teams (Data, AI Tech, IT) to gather and structure requirements.
• Oversee use‑case delivery, coordinate stakeholders and enable scalable adoption of AI solutions.
• Ensure alignment between AI initiatives and foundational data capabilities such as data governance, data models, and customer‑centric platforms.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of AI and data concepts with experience driving adoption in a financial services environment.
• Proven ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions and articulate clear value.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of working across business, data, and technology teams.
• Experience with data governance, data modeling, and customer‑centric data platforms is a plus.
