Aircraft Maintenance Technician - Electrical Assembly EF2000

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Electrical Assembly) for its Eurofighter EF2000 Production and Flight Line team in Getafe, Madrid. The selected person joins a multidisciplinary team working on the Final Assembly Line and the Flight Line, involved in the electrical integration, functional testing and flight readiness of military aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly, integration, harness routing and system modifications (soldering, crimping) according to technical instructions, work orders and job cards.
• Carry out functional testing of avionics and mechanical systems on the Final Assembly Line and operational testing on the Flight Line.
• Support Flight Line operations, including aircraft reception, operational testing preparation, engine ground runs and pre-flight launch activities.
• Detect, troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents during integration and functional testing.
• Perform basic electrical testing (continuity, bonding) and first-level quality inspections to ensure assembly readiness.
• Promote continuous improvement and coordinate with cross-functional production and maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT / TMA) qualification or a related technical discipline in aeronautical maintenance.
• Practical experience in aircraft electrical assembly, functional testing or flight line operations.
• Advanced level of English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• High adaptability, strong collaboration and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Nice to have: EASA B1/B2 licence, previous experience in the Eurofighter programme or experience in engine ground runs.

Required skills

• Basic electrical testing and interpretation of technical production documentation.
