About the role

As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a fulfillment centre shift, driving safety, quality and productivity to meet customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Create and sustain a culture of safety and wellbeing across the site.
• Analyze shift performance data and implement actions to improve operational excellence.
• Lead projects that streamline processes, optimise productivity and enhance service quality.
• Oversee daily team management, coaching new managers and ensuring shift standards are met.
• Collaborate with senior management to standardise shift practices and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Advanced degree or Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience managing people in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to use data to influence business decisions.
• Fluent English communication.
